Day and night creams

Les crèmes de jour et de nuit

Do you use a moisturizer for your skin? A facial cream specifically?

If so, did you know that the skin does not react the same way during the day as it does at night? Indeed, during the day, the skin tends to be on the defensive: it tries to protect itself from external aggressions, such as the sun, ambient pollution, weather conditions and the proliferation of bacteria in the air. During sleep, the skin is on the contrary more active and tends to repair what was broken during the day. It is therefore important to adapt your care accordingly.

Day cream

Often favored by most people, day cream will be mainly used to protect the skin against external aggressions. UVA and UVB rays from the sun, air pollution, wind, cold, etc. The epidermis is put to the test. Regardless of your age and skin type, a good cream can provide additional protection.

The result: deeply hydrated skin less prone to irritation and redness. Protected skin. Ideal as a base to prevent aging.

Night cream

Often underestimated, night cream plays a leading role in the health and quality of the skin. Unlike day cream, night cream is used for its revitalizing effects. Sleep allows, among other things, cells to regenerate. The night cream therefore contributes to skin regeneration by providing essential nutrients. Since the skin is more “active” at night, it is more receptive to the care we can provide and therefore acts more effectively.

Night creams are often richer in water, as well as fatty and nourishing ingredients.

It can be said that day and night creams complement each other. Whether to hydrate, firm or repair the skin or prevent a particular need, applying it morning and evening is not a bad thing. Choosing them well, however, is the key!

Practical information : know that it takes about a month for the epidermis to renew itself. So, when using a new cream, be patient before you see results.
